Small kitchenSunday

Cook one meal. Share one thing you learned. Help one other student. A kinder way to get good at cooking, together.

An illustrated table set for friends to share a meal

One mealevery week

Every Sunday we pick one simple meal. You cook it in whatever kitchen you have, then share how it went.

  1. 1

    Cook one meal

Start with the weekly prompt, a free recipe or any meal from your Starter Kit. A microwave or no cooking at all is completely fine.

  2. 2

    Share one lesson

A photo, a fix that saved it, a swap that worked. One useful thing is plenty. It doesn't need to look perfect.

  3. 3

    Help one student

Answer a question, cheer on someone's first meal or share what you would try next. That's what makes it a table, not a feed.

This week Your first Small kitchen Sunday

No cooking and one bowl. Make it your way, then tell us the one thing you'd change next time.

House rules

  • Be kind. Everyone started somewhere. Burnt rice is a lesson, not a failure.
  • Share what you really cooked. Real meals, real kitchens, honest results.
  • Keep it safe. Follow food labels and storage rules. No dares with raw or undercooked food.
  • No medical or diet advice. Allergies and health questions belong with a professional.
  • Protect privacy. Leave out addresses, dorm names and other people's faces without their OK.
  • Say when it's sponsored. If a brand paid you or sent you something, say so in your post.

Members' table sign-up is for students 18 and older.
